crawler/ racer rc truggy

Hi all can any one recommend a crawler / racer I know that it will be a compmarise but just want to stuff around
I have around $1000 to spend
So far i am thinking electric maybe a super cod :truck:

Any opinions welcome as ive got no I dear

i have the axial, but for speed as well, i would go the wheely king 4x4

jop i was thinking that that was another alternative I am really after something that I could mod so it will be a starting point
in the way of electronics and stuff

Well the new E-Maxx came out this month and it would be my choice if I was buying now. It has been re-engineered with nitro level drivetran and tranny so that brushless motors can be used. And being an RTR, you get the radio with it.
