Ok so I had the truck in at the mechanics yesterday to have a few things fixed. My main point of concern was a bad noise in the rear axle which appeared on the return trip from cruiser park recently. It was a definate whine but I cud not pinpoint it to the bearing or diff as they felt fine and rolled alrite. Turns out the the passenger side rear bearing was partially seized and driving like this has done sumthing to the relationship between the crown and pinion. My question is am I able to remove the diff centre and have the crown and pinion angles realigned or will if be cactus anyhow and Im better off having a spare centre ready to go? Also as I now hav a locker I will have to swap the locker centre into the new diff centre. Is ther much involved in swapping a locker from a busted diff to a good diff???? was quoted $70 to swap it by aussie diffs so will prob go the way anyhow. Cheers
