Hey all, im replacing the pads on a mates 80 series this arvo, just wondering how hard it is. Are the pistons screw back in, or am i going to need a clamp etc?
So basically any help is muchly appreciated.

I think they are the same as the rear discs on my 75. They are easy,I levered the pistons back with a screwdriver and the pads slid into place;)

Undo two guide pin bolts at the back of the caliper body (17mm spanner) and remove. Lift off caliper body then remove pads, shim and retainers from the anchor plate. Remove the pad wear indicator plates from the pads and install on new pads. Install new pads, shim and retainers to the anchor plate. Use a G-clamp or what ever to push back the piston, NOTE: check the level in the master cylinder reservoir, you my need to remove 1/2 so fluid doesn't overflow onto the paint work when pushing back the piston. Replace caliper body and guide pin bolts. Replace wheel, pump brake pedal to align pads to rotor and test drive. Good Luck.

I always remove the whole caliper assembly from the axle (as not to damage the slider seals), remove pads and use a 6" G clamp to push the the piston back.
