I Have a dts kit with bonnet mounted intercooler and 2 1/2 exhaust tweaked to 12psi, i bought and had set up in toowoomba bout 3 years ago and its been faultless. I chose them cause they deal in turbos from all walks of life from large machinery and ships down to our 4b's etc. They dyno tuned it as well in shop. I have a standard 80 series with 1hz as well by the way.

i just had a DTS turbo put on my 105 series cruiser friday 2 weeks ago, and then had a 3" exhaust put on by beaudesert exhausts last friday. to say it is a different fourbie to drive is an understatement.
i used QDAD here on the southside of brisbane, i was recommened them by another forum member and can say that Matt from QDAD is a genuinely nice guy who dosen't try to speak any B.S to you. he gave me the option of getting the exhaust done myself or getting them to do the lot, he didn't care which way i went. the DTS system was easily hooked back up to the standard exhaust system so i could get the beaudesert system fitted up later on.
check out page 2 of my "It's a girl thread" in the clubhouse section for some photos of my turbo and exhaust.
I went through this a while ago and I found that the following guys have great reputations with very little bad said about them: ARB caboolture, Rob Romano (the landcruiser website loveshim) ADAD goodna, Brisbane tuning and turbo wooloongabba, offroad world nerang (perfectionist) highway diesel acacia ridge.... but there are heaps more that are great. Just do a search on those that have a reputation for overfuelling (I;ve had experience with this out at capalaba)
Hey Rumpig, I'm glad you're happy with matt from adad caus i think i recommended you there.
Hope this helps a little.

Give chapmans performance dyno in cooroy a ring very good to deal with and they know their stuff . I had the aunty' s td6 patrol tuned by them and what a difference and it didn't cost a fortune .I have used gympie arb in the past but found chapmans better for tuning .

Had a Safari System ( Garret Turbo ) fitted about 18months ago from Motson's Turbo at Acacia Ridge. Cost $3400 which included -
1. Dyno and compression check before starting
2. Garrett turbo
3. 2 1/2" Mandrel Pipe
4. Dyno tune
Started with about 95kw and drove out with 120kw.
Was very happy withpower when you first drive out of store, but you soon get use to it.
Very professional job and i reckon it is the best factory looking kit on the market.
Hope this helps.
I FITTED my turbo myself (its pretty easy provided you know how to use a spanner) but got it tuned by Lionel's Engine Improvements up here, but it was only a basic wind the fuel to suit the boost and EGT type tune up. But as i bought my AXT (Garret) turbo kit second hand i had MTQ Turbos rebuild mine locally. Cost about $1250 for a whole new cartridge inside. Then i had a Baudesert 3inch mandrel exhaust sent up to me which the local exhaust shop fitted for next to nothing. Accodring to the recent dyno test at TAFE (so it wasnt a pro job or nothing) i got about 115kW, but i am able to get more via a proper dyno tune if i want it, but im prety happy wtih it at the moment.

id stay away from turbo glide, have a close look at what you get. they dont use a new manafold, just the old stock one with an adapter to suit the turbo. they also use non watercooled turbos, unless you specify you want water cooling at an additional cost.
