The wife is no longer happy with the standard seats in my Holden Rodeo.
I need to update them to something more comfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What year Rodeo is it?
Mines a 99 and I find the seats are a reasonable shape and fit. Got some lambswool covers on too which helps on the long drives.

The RA ones get a bit hard on the backside after a while but sheepskin covers or a piece of foam under a seat cover makes it more bearable.

thanks for the help
the lambs wool will probably help, thats what we have in our commodore
our rodeo is a 92 tf and the seats seem like they could do with some more lumber support
if you have any more ideas pls let me know
i have thought of putting later model seats in
thanks

thanksThe seats out of a 98 - 03 (R9 Rodeo's) are a lot comfier and will bolt straight in to a 92tf.
Might find some good ones at a wreckers.

i think i will go down the later model seat path if they bolt straight in

that should keep the boss happy

how much do you want to spend? Recaros are about as comfy as car seats get but are in the region of $1200 per seat.

I'd just like to thank everyone for there ideas, I was very comfortable for our trip too and from the Simpson.
However, for the actual desert crossings, I really needed a full Kirke wrap around race seat, 5 point harness, kidney belt, and neck brace.
With only 1 hand hold above the seat - I was shaken around like a bowl of jelly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
