hi thinkn of buyn a defender, maybe a new one, is this new one a goody, or maybe a 130 with low kms on it a bttr choice?i like4 both styles, any help wuld be great, i

That depends how big your cheque is. LOL. Both are good,older ones have thier quirks. Early Defenders can have have gear box isues if worked hard. If you are looking for old style diesel go for Tdi 300 4 cyl. If well cared for they are good for 400000km or more.
Most go for Dd5 comonrail,Has ECU. Can be easily tricked up. Some with a bit of age get a miss but is only wire loom to injecters. Can be replaced.
I have had very little to do with curent model but have herd no bad.
The cabin lay out is still similar so get used to driving whit your window down.LOL. You either love it or hate it... Good luck

I was up at Zig Zag near lithgow for a play after work yesterday with my son and we came to an intersection and 5 brand spanking new ones came past in front of me on the official press launch, i fell in love the the new 130 on the spot, it looks great, there were 2 130's and 3 110's.
