Extra cab lux build up finally happening!!!

hey guys i just thought i might post some stuff about my hilux now that there is progress with it.
Its a 93 SR5 with speedy mags an eldorado ZR4 31inch tyres. had the usual stuff like bit of a stereo but its pretty stock. I have owned the car for 4 years and its been the best car i have ever owned an i love it so its getting some treats over the next few weeks.

I have later model steering wheel lined up!
front and rear diff locks on there way!
Recaro seats ready to bolt in!
Full suspension package(but sure which one yet ARB or Ironman?)
New tempest II 16inch mags and new 265/75/16 ZR4s sitting in the shed waiting to go.
and my favorite mod is the lexus V8 is also happening, i paid deposit and just waiting on the call to run the car down to venom cobras in brissy who is doing the conversion. paying someone is cheating but drive in drive out for 10,000 is worth me not having the head ache over it.:D

If there is any interest in the build up ill keep everyone posted, look forward to hearing people comments

Looks good, nothing better than starting a new project with a blank canvas.

When are the mods and V8 transplant going to start, keep us all posted on the progress with lots of photos, this place loves photos.

I am a big fan of the extra cabs too, i wasnt till i owned one and its just been tops. (I do like boofs dual cab though).

Spoke to scott from venom cobras and he recieved the deposit and he thinks in the next three weeks he will be needing the car down there.

Anyway wont ramble, keep yous posted!!!

I'm keen to know how it all goes once the lexus is in. What diff ratio's are you planning to run ?

i'm keen to see how it all goes too, At this stage i dont know what diff gears are in it or how they will go. scott at venom reckons they will be fine stock as he has had success with them before.

Some family friends up here in townsville own an automatics shop who specialize in gear box and diff repairs so if it doesnt work ill get them to change front and rear gears because rear needs a rebuild anyway to get rid of the hell whine its got which i didnt get fixed because i wanna wait an see how the gear ratios go an do it all together.

I also have the flares going on it the day before i deliver it to venom because i got over the idea of doing it myself.

Im contemplating finding a way of getting power windows in it to make the ride feel nice(lazy). Does anyone know if imported surf doors will fit my car, that way i could use the whole doors with power windows and just have them sprayed in silver to match the car?
