does anybody know what is required to do a 2'' body lift on a 96 disco? apart from the obvious lift blocks what else is needed? brake lines, steering ext, fuel filler, etc etc etc.does anyone sell a complete bolt on body lift kit? truck is auto no air bags

i dont know about a 96 disco but i did a 2 inch lift on a 85 range rover.
the steering column i extended by using a landrover 90/110 uni joint (its longer than the rangy one) you will have to extend the transfer box lever and make room for it having a longer throw.the seat belt anchors needed extending.have a look at how your radiator is mounted and what fan you have .on the rangy the rad mounted on the body and chassis so i changed the body mount and left the rad at it`s original height so a standard fan could be used (even tho i used an electric one). what engine do you have? look at your airfilter pipe work/ airflow meter/ battery leads and anything else that will move up 2 inches. hope this helps

the disco is a diesel with an auto box. the gearbox shouldn't be too hard to modify. tbar should be mounted to the floor.maybe just an extention on the shift rod.to buy a complete kit would be so much simpler

Auto shifter is cable and remains untouched, just an extension on the transfer lever
