Thinking about a project.

Well Like it says, I am thinking about a Project 4WD some time in the next 12-18 months Funds permitting of corse.

Want a ute and was thinking Patrol or cruser but would like something a bit different, so the J10, J20’s comes to mind V8 of corse , so what can you tell me about them??

My mates old man had a J20 at his Farm with a 350 V8 in it had 600,000km on the clock, was in average condition with a nice custom Wood bottom Tray on it, just rite for a build up too. It just sat there most of the time, then just as I was thinking about asking him what he wanted for it he sold the thing for bugger all LOL.

I get the impression these things are hard to come by thou.

I have a CJ10 tray back ute which is basicly a CJ tub on a FSJ chasis with a dana 60 rear and a 44 front diff, had a 258 six petrol or a nissan SD33 diesel motor.
I have a 350 chev in it though, great drive.

yeah i have been having a bit of a look around on the net just out of interest and there are bugger all around.

The J20's are a bit big i think a J10 would be a good one to get.

What would one be worth?, i see the odd one getting around perth once in a wile.
