Oil filter for suzuki vitara.

Hi guys just wondering if anyone knows if the the same size oil filters are used for the '96 vitara 1.6ltr as well as the '99 grand vitara 2.5ltr?? or are they different??

Totally different motor... 1 is a 4cyl one is a V6 Id think they'd be different!

They do use the same oil filter!!!

they don't! 1.6 ltr takes the z418 and the v6 takes the z172 if your not using genuine. they do both fit but the difference is in the size of the thingies!
