dose any of u know what thread and pitch the bolts are that hold the well back on an early 90's hilux a mate of mine is converting his hilux from ally tray back to the original ute back i know my courier had a realy fine pitch tread on it and rather than get half way throu the job and find out we dont have the right bolts i thought i would try and get them sorted first thanx

if it a toyota it will be either metric(M) or metric Fine(MF) they only use those two sizes

I dont know if im on the right track but what diff it make get bolt and nut that fit in hole. from memory they just have holes with thin square ruber inserts between style side body and brackets on chassis.

thanx mate im not a hilux owner me courier had taped holes in the under side of the tray i wasnt sure what the go is with the luxs

OOps half right half wrong front mounts have welded nuts the rest have nut and bolt combo i shut up now.

when you say that, what 2 threads are you talking about? as far a i knew metric has a range of thread pitches! eg 1, 1.25, 1.5, etc

your thinking of UNF and UNC (measured by threads per inch (impreial term))......metric is gagued on the pitch......never heard of "MF"...they are a fine and course thread but ISO measurements gague on bolt diameter x pitch of thread, not the imperial which is bolt dia x thread count over 1inch distance

my guess is M10x1.5 or M10x1.25

being toyota it'll prob be either m10 x 1.25 or m12 x 1.25
