Hi there Guy's, just showing my truck.
It's A rhinobuggies replica on an 84 MK chassis.
It runs a 2002 Ecotec and auto and MK divorsed transfer. 3 inch spring lift with 35 x 12.5 X-Terrains on 15 x 10 Pro Comp alloys
it took about 18 months to build, everything was replaced, springs bushes, tie rods, custom draglink.

Cheers guy's
anothe pic of the dash, there was noty enough room for a vent, stereo and air con controls so I made a cardboard template then had a sheet matal guy bend up a centre for the dash, then made some surrounds for the aircon controls from perspex, got some stickers cut in reverse and stuck them to the back of the perspex and then stuck some translucent red, blue and white sticker behind that, so when the dash lights are on, you can see the controls

One word : AWESOME!.
I really do think the Interior looks better then a Hummer!
I don't care if it is a Hummer clone... It looks unreal..
I see it has Elements of Nissan X-Trail with the location of the Speedo and a Commodore Gear Selector.. all in all.. that thing is incredible.. How does she go with the Ecotec under the Bonnet??

Thanks guy's, the gauges are offset because there is not enough room behind the wheel because of the vertical windscreen the room is just not there, My mate has a silver one he had a cutom dash made with a Dakoda digital display that fits behind the wheel cause its slim

Alot of Nissan and Holden parts are compatable, the commodore
Accelerator cable fits the Nissan pedal I used the commodore handbrake and mounted it to the transmission tunnel it attaches to one side of a bracket and the nissan cable from the transfer brake attaches to the other side, works great, I used black VZ commodore sunvisors, fitted perfectly, the interior lights are from a Commo aswell

Awsome truck mate, how does it go with the v6 in it?
It goes great with the V6, with the 4.6 diff and 35's it does just over 2000rpm at 110km/hr
It has the same acceration as a v6 commodore. There is plenty enough poke there
The whole truck weighed in at 2040kg's

Just showing what I did with the relay arm/drag link set up with the MK steering.
I pulled out all the steering junk and made a custom draglink like later model Patrols
I got a tie-rod outta my spare Patrol, got it cut down and rethreaded, then bought 2 new tie rod ends and a steering stabiliser bracket, it works so much better than the relay rod to the relay arm then to the draglink to the tie rod setup, it stopped the steering wobble I had at about 60k's too.

Nice, we were up Drummonds on Sunday Arvo we had about 6 trucks up there, was an awesome arvo, beach was pretty soft and chew up, made good for more right boot action. Have you had the Wrangler long? I have seen the Silver one around quite a bit. We will probably be up there again this weekend, might see you there, I will be on the lookout for your ride around town now.

50,000 TAX deductable dollars (business vehicle), cheaper than a new Hilux, it covered about 25000 trouble free km in the year (except for a bad earth to the thermo fans and sqweeky poly bushes that needed greasable pins).

Someone asked me about the roller tray.
The tailgate originally hinged downwards but due to the height of the truck it was going to be too hard to get gear into the tray. So the hinges were removed and the holes welded up. I then had a frame made for the roller tray, I then mounted some roller bearings to the inside walls of the tray, the inner walls at the end of the tray had to be reinforced due to flexing, I got some threaded rod bent up for the stabaliser bearings, this way the bent threaded rod can twisted to tension against the frame to keep it straight when being pulled in and out.(hopefully the pics will explain better) The tailgate bolts to the roller tray acting like a drawer front, works a treat.

Now to rear seat, I got hold of a XF Falcon bench/bucket seat, widened it by 280mm, then got hold of another ford bucket seat and welded the upper frame to the widened foldown armrest, stuck a bit of new foam on the seat area and covered it with the same Commodore material to match the front seats ( it took 3 commodore rear seats to get enough fabric, and trying to find the same grey at the wreckers was a mission)
