Hi All
Long time reader first time poster.......
I'm looking for info on grease and oil changing and can't seem to find a thread on it.
It all seems pretty straightforward, but I'm not sure whether to use a different oil pump for different oils in the truck, ie: diff and gearbox oils.
I changed the engine oil a few days ago without too much drama. Still copping it for the black circles on the front yard tho':thumb:
I got the Max Ellory service manual and a couple of the dvds from the mag which has excellent diy stuff in it (More of that please).

But if I've missed a thread could someone steer me in the right direction?

Thanx in advance.
Paul

Throw the max elleries in the bin and get a Gregorys or a FSM.

One pump does all and best if its higher than what your trying to fill eg attach 1200mm of garden hose to the pump, place on old chair and pump downhill till full.
Much easier:thumbsup:

Cheers I think
Are you talking about the pump that has a hose that goes into the diff/transfer case/gearbox housing?

Youll prob want or need rather a special grease applicator needle to apply grease to the front drive shaft uni's as i found the gap is very small and the regular grease gun nipple applicator is too wide....

and yes get a gregories manual far better...

What's wrong with the Max ellry manual?
