going with a vortech supercharger? nice. is it going on a petrol or diesel engine in your lux?
vortech should give the diesel a nice kick along

its a petrol, im thinking of just turboing it now, gonna be a pain and will be easier to go with turbo kit, i only baught the v2 blower no kit.

thanks mate, doesnt look so long now
Blower will be easier and cheaper than turbo but wont make as much power in the cheaper setup ;)
Get the bracketry made to attach it and use a unichip or similiar to run it you should be able to run 5-8psi of boost in that configuration and will make nice low down power :D:D

The are also very thermally efficient. so you can get away with not running a intercooler. unfortunately vortec centrifugal blowers don't deliver the best low end torque as they are geared and designed for top end horsepower. There will still be an increase in low end torque just not as much as if you had used a roots or twin screw blower. The only centrifugal supercharger that seems to work like a roots or twin screw are the powerdyne superchargers. Check the capa info as there is plenty info there.
Go with the vortech as you already have it and it won't put as much stress on the engine as a turbo.
I reckon It should still be pretty sweet still. :D :D :D
