Crikey ,thats a tough one. Ill say the winch should be next.
If your stuck with a front and rear locker your gonna need a winch so you might as well get the winch before the locker.
At least you will never be stuck;)

I was thinking about a Premier winch. Typical chinese made variety like the rest but the aussie distributors have improved it by replacing the dodgy chinese parts that are prone to failure.
I did see a list of what mods were done but have lost the link
PREMIER ELECTRIC WINCH (http://www.4wdworld.com.au/products/pwinch/index.htm)

Did you look at the Premier?? Most of them are coming from the same factories in China ,like the compressors, but with varying degrees of quality and features.
Some say buy a cheapie, strip it down, replace the low quality bolts and grease and you will have a decent winch.

mmm hard 1 indeed... is the winch for you or to pull your mates out?? with the diff lock you'll never need a winch (unless you drive into a 6 foot deep bog) it is good to have a winch if your going on a long trip (cape york, fraser ect) least you dont need to buy a compresser for the front locker.... id go the locker see how that goes...

cheers fishy:D

Depends on what type of driving u do? If it's all hard pack and rocky etc go the locker, it'll take u further. If it's soft and boggy, then get the winch. Lockers are only useful when they have traction and @ least 2 wheels r on the ground!

I went winch 1st, lockers 2nd! Cause where i used to wheel was rather muddy (tassie LOL)

it depends on the driving, the rule i use, if ya go out with mates get the locker, they can always pull you out, but for the long haul on ya own a winch is far more important!

winch first.... your pritty much grantieed(spelling) to get out! but on the other hand you will probley get more use out of a front locker

Drove me 80 for 11 years off-road without lockers or electric winch, had a Tirfor hand winch though. Put the air lockers in 18 months ago and have not used the Tirfor since. Go the locker. Something you can use all the time off-road, less wear/tear on your drivetrain/tyres, if you're driving sensible, plus you dont have 30kg hanging off your bullbar.
