Ford Transfer Gears - Crawler?

Can you get crawler or extra low gearing for Ford transfer boxes? (trying to get a really good low range)
Asking mainly for Explorer's but any model info would be interesting.

no idea, you maybe able to find someone who rebuilds them and can redo the gearing.

i think i may have screwd mine , i have got some serious clunking in my 4L , it clunks when i change into it and while driving, is this normal for explorers or am i stuffed?

Mines pretty smooth but sometimes it takes a bit of changing (L to H & back)to get out of it, usually only after I,ve been doing some pretty hi revving stuff though. :truck: :D
