i just checked my shed profile out, and i must say that i am very pleased with all the comments and ratings. i made it not only to the top 30, but straight to number 1, i thought my ride was good but i never knew that so many people appreciate a good gq when they see 1. not to mention the quality of the other rides that are posted, personaly i think they deserve a mention too! thank you to everyone who voted!!!
for those who havent seen my rig or rated it yet, you can visit my shed here http://www.4wdmonthly.com.au/shed/index.php?id=1782

well a few votes knocked me down a peg or 2, but, i expected that with all the other flash rigs that the members have. but i did enjoy my time at the top, who knows i might be up there again 1 day

appreciative, mostly, proud, alot, bragging, maybe a little, but i do think that i haven't had enough votes to get a truly accurate position. but hey, i like how its starting. personally, i was aiming for the top 30, and i would be over the moon to consistantly hold a top 30 position compared to the rest of the rigs in the shed, and i cant even mention the forum members rigs, as i havent seen most of them, but if it wasnt for the votes of you guys i wouldnt even stand a chance so again thank you to every1 who is voting

i said i would be over the moon to consistantly hold a top 30 position compared to the rest of the rigs in the shed, that is not something that every 1 can maintain, and to be honest as more members come, some with far better rides than mine, it all comes down to the personal likes and dislikes of every voter. this thread was actually posted to thank those that rated my rig, and to show my gratitude, not turn out to be a bragging episode or to upset any other forum members, my appologies if i have by the way.

Hey Stets,
I like what you have done to your truck, looks great, I posted a tread the other day and you were the only that responded, thanks. Can you tell me the details of the lift kit, wheels and tyres as I am looking at changing this on my truck soon, can't do a V8 conversion though as the wife would spew.

Thanks mate, I looked in your shed after posting the message a realised you had that info listed, hows the dual cab conversion comeing along? As I am not very mechanical minded I plan to have ARB fit the 2" lift kit, they have quoted around $1,500 sounds reasonable to me. I am still checking out the turbo option too.

dual cab conversion has been postponed til further notice as per the missus (and other forum members) setting my head straight i still want it done, but not right now more important things like insurance first

colour is paint that was to be used for the r32 skyline GT-R, but the skyline didnt hit the production line till march, so for the first 3 months in 89 all ST patrols came out with this paint job.
on a diferent note.
the 3ltr that was in the R31 skyline and is in patrols was also meant for the r32 skyline (gt-s model) but was scrapped in favour of the 2.5 that they used, so instead of throwing the engines away they put them in to our beloved patrols.

so far worst i got is about 20ltrs per 100 k's thats going slow on a rough limestone track, usually between 14-17 liters per 100 k's. far better economy than my landcruiser
