Hey guys.. just came across this 80 series that this guy made up in a Dakar style, I think its a Tamiya. Just thought some of you tojo fans would like to see it. I think it would look sweet with a scratch made bullbar, winch, roof racks, high lift jack etc..

a spare tyer would make it look so real and bull bar winch roof racks and bigger suspention it would look so real :thumb: :) :truck:

if it wasnt for the under carriage setup , i would say it is real :thumb:

this is just a standing model. i.e. no actual engine or controls etc.

I used to have one as a kid. it was well done with free running wheels and steering. but didn't last long being bashed through mud and sand.

With 1:18th Scale RC Cars. it is Possible to mount that Diecast onto a RC Chassis for a real working model..

i can only find matchbox 80 series on ebay.. no models though..
