Has anyone got a set of unwanted 90-03 Rodeo/Jackeroo etc IFS control arms laying around that they dont want?
If so I would like them, I'll pay postage. I want a set to modify for 2-3" of lift without having to crank the t/bars.
With the right tie rods etc. my idea should work and may solve the front lift issues we Isuzu owners are faced with.
cheers, sudso

Yes jase I've looked long and hard many times at mine at ways of doing something for it and I'm getting very close to a solution but need some arms to experiment with.
It will have to be done in conjunction with an equal amount of front diff drop too which isn't as complex (except for a new section of exhaust pipe, on the V6 anyway) it will keep the cv angles near horizontal and leave plenty to still crank the tbars an inch or so.
If 4" of front lift can be achieved with the mod and t/bar cranking without maxing out cv angles at full droop, it will give Rodeo's good ground clearance and with a 30-40mm body lift 33's wont ever be a clearance problem.

jaseNo its been done before with aftermarket tie rods and links.
The sway bar links can be extended but they drive fine without one anyway although not legal.
It allows the front suspension to travel/flex a lot easier.
