Which way do you adjust the screw on the fuel pump to increase the amount of fuel?

Why do you wish to do this??
unless you have turbo'd it and need more fuel, its simply not worth adjusting.
its not like you will get much, if any more power from it, but you will get more smoke, and increased fuel burn.
Add to that moving the max fuel screw may break the o ring seal, and give you an air leak, and thus reduce your performance even more, I simply wouldnt bother.
If you do wish to stuff around with it, mark it accurately with a scribe beforehand.
Moving it clockwise will richen it.
1/2 turn gives you 3cc increase.
given that from idle to max noise is something like a 6cc difference, you dont have to move it much to give a large percentage difference.
I would not reccomend stuffing around with it.
Get a good air filter, get the injectors serviced, change your fuel filter, and get a good exhaust if your chasing more performance.
Or get a turbo ;)

I'd be careful with it hey, If u wind it up to much it will spew raw diesel out the back as smoke and will probably run hot. Just wait and hav it dyno tuned to save any hassles. And if u wer to end up with an airleak in ur fuel system dont plan on goin away cause u wont be able to idle let alone maintain 80 down the 100km/hr highway. been ther done that

yep one more vote to leave it until you come back from your trip.
not having enough fuel on a turbo diesel engine wont make it run hot like a petrol engine, if you wind up the fuel with out monitoring exhaust temp via a pyro meter on a dyno under load you risk increasing the combustion temperature too much which could damage your engine, definately a job best left to the professionals

yeah used a turbo kit off of a 2LT-E surf motor. with the CT-20 turbo. i put a 2.5 inch exhaust system on it too. still trying to work out how to plumb the intake side up. i didnt get those pipes in the kit.

pretty staright forward. the only tricky parts was to plumb the water lines in and the oil feed and drain. i bought the fitting from the DTS turbo kit for the oil pipes. made it a lot easier.
