towing with an auto

Hi, i have seen a thread somewhere about towing with an auto cruiser,cant find it now,but are there are there any problems with towing with an auto hilux? Generally with lots of towing,which is best?Thanks.

Auto makes it easier at the start and finish. Once on the road there is little difference as long as you have an oil cooler for the auto fluid. Last weekend I towed a cruiser on a car trailer from Buderim to Ipswich without any problems. Tow vehicle was a BF Falcon auto.

Yeh, as with any box, make sure you have it in the correct gear for the correct condition, however autos dont like being manual shifted a lot, so a happy medium is desired. The more coolers the better. :D
