gday all

i'm slowly doing up my 1998 coil sprung Suzuki sierra and would like to get rid of that huge ugly air box and hoses that connect to it, i get the large main hose for the air to the carby but what is the go with the smaller one that comes off the top of the engine??

then there are some smaller hoses that run off to 2 different places what are they for and does it need any of this?

i understand that the white paper like hose runs to the headers to collect warm air but does it really need this as i will be putting performance headers on it soon with a 2" exhaust that wont have the attachment?

what can i get rid of or how have other people fitted a k&n filter without the old airbox?
and if the engine doesnt need all of these what to do about them ?

sorry for so much in one post lol thanx in advance guys

the little hose is 4 eng breater as 4 the paper pipe it helps the eng warm up in the colder weather i have taken my off and runs great in summer but some times takes i bit to warm up in winter as for the other they would be 4 vac lines etc you may need them one depends on carb your running

you will need all except for the one for warm air! i took mine off when i went through a river crossing because it defets the porupose of a snorkle and still lets the motor suck in water and lock up
