i'm looking at putting the standard 100 series seats with the passenger bench seat into my 75 series, i like the fold down middle in the 100's and looking at upgrading to something a bit more comfy. Has anyone got any thoughts on this in relation to width and compatibility with seat runners, or any other issues you can think of.

My initial thought would be that the 100 seats would be too wide for the 75 series.

i've got a 105 series with the passenger bench seat and the main problem i have with it is you don't have anywhere to put your phone or wallet (unless you have a roof console), my doors are full so no centre console sucks in my opinion. i was also warned about the 100 series seats being uncomfortable on long trips, which i found to be the case when i went to the cape last year, no lower lumbar support. i don't have a problem with the seats any other time, i drive every day in my fourbie and find the seats are quite comfy for the most time, just had problems on the long trip.

thanks for the info, i've got a 75 series ute so the 100 seats can't be anymore more uncomfortable than mine, the 75's have awesome storage space on the dash and i have a roof console so i don't have a problem with not having a center console with the bench seats i've got now, i just wanted to upgrade the seats but still keep the bench so i can carry 3 people if i have to.

do you have a set you can measure to see if they will fit (i'm guessing no hence the original post), or would you like me to get some measurements off mine so you can get a rough size idea.

rumpig that would be great if you could give me a rough idea of the sizes.

got some measurements for you, hope it helps alittle.
measured inside of pillar to inside of other pillar with the tape sitting across the seats were your bum would be = 1535mm
there's about a 35mm gap between the seat and the pillar to allow for the seatbelt, this is the same for both passenger and drivers side.
inbetween the drivers and passenger bench seat is a 40mm gap
the drivers seat alone is about 550mm wide both at the front and back of seat
the passenger bench seat is about 860mm wide at the back, the front from the passenger side door is about 550mm wide like the drivers side but then cuts back on a bit of a sweeping curve, from the front it steps back about 150mm.
i just realised i didn't measure how deep the seats are from front to back, let me know if you need this measurement, but i assume it wouldn't be to different to yours in this regard
