Hey guys,

I would like to get some lift on my 2003 mazda bravo dual cab so that i can get some bigger rubber on them. Am i pretty well restricted to getting a body lift on it, or is there a way i could get a few inches from the suspension. I think at the moment it has torsion bar suspension on the front and leaf sprung on the back.

Thanks for any help given.

wind the torsions up as far as possible and get the rear leafs reset to suit.
i did it to my old ford raider and gained about 2 inches

hey mate, your limited to about 40mm in the front being IFS, so just wind your torsion bars up... be carefull not to go so far up that they ride on the bump stop.. Then get your self a wheel alignment

On the rear, just get your springs reset to suit the extra height in the front....

What size tyres do ya wanna go?????.....

31's will fit piece of piss...

Yeah i was hoping to get 33's on there. But now i dont know if it is worth all the cost. So i will probably only go for 31's. I wound up my torsion bars 30 mm and it seems to be going alright. Now to buy some tyres... Cheers for the help.

i fitted 235/85/16 (equivelant to 32) on 2001 courier without a body lift just wound up the torsion bars and new leaf springs and air bag for carry extra load..
i think there was either an article 4wd monthly about a guy who put 33 muddies under his courier. he did a body lift which was easy and just had to lift the raditor an inch or two.

snake racing do a 4 or 5" lift i'm pretty sure. my '98 dual cab had an EFS kit which worked really well. cleared 31's just nice

I fitted today a airbag setup on the rear of my 2004 courier cost was $410 for the pair delievered and are the proper pro-bag can handle 250psi of pressure and can carry 1250kg each took me about 3hrs to fit has lifted my courier 70mm on the rear with 50psi in the bags thats with 1200kgs of tools on the back can go higher just add more pressure. I just wound up my torsion bars on the front to lift it 45mm. The ride is great I can't believe how smooth it is feels like a different truck. I also added some alloy wheels with +20 offset and 255/70 r16 bfg at tyres looks great.
