If you can, get in touch with the cops you reported it to again and offer to go pull it out and tow it to the main road for them... ?

Brownie point with cops go far a lot of the time ;)

Shame to, it's a reasonably new-ish one too. All I can hope is that it's not someone's work truck and way of life.... And it's insured.

There is also the chance the owner has gone and done that themself. Went and got it stuck there the night before you got there and were intending to come back later that day with others to get it out.

theres pretty much no chance the owner did it, the streer wheel was takin ingnition smased we new stright away that it was a hottie, other various part were taken aswell, we also went down the next day to have another look the police were down there takin photos of it still , its still a shame, it was somebodys fourby at the end of the day,

if cops treat it as a crime scene it's actually illegal to touch anything.

they have plenty of 4wd's ;)

Whereabouts at Murphy's Creek is this? I know the area well but this doesn't look familiar! Must be the rain filling up old holes - haven't had any of the wet stuff for so long until recently.

Back to the north of Murphy's Creek - Don't get into that area much! Thought the Moto-x area was closed off? I do some off the tracks further north again from there in my Lux.

gday stampy4x4, yes the actual motor-cross track was (is) closed off instead of goin under the rail line and turning right in to the gate that used to take you up to the motox track you,you just go straight ahead. you say you go further north of murphys do u mean ravensbourn area or further, it would be good too hook up with you and go for a wheel sometime,,,,,,,,,, cheers peter....

Gday Peter - Do you mean the rail bridge in the village near the shop. When we head out we take the road north from the shop - keep following this north and it becomes the track out to Cabarlah/Hampton area. There's heaps of sidetracks going off this and some good low-range stuff amongst it! Send me a PM: I think my email is linked up.:thumb:
Cheers, Paul

Did you hear anything back about the stolen lux?
