you can't get a body lift for your model pajero as it dosen't have a chassis so it isn't simple to put a spacer between the chassis and body. I would be looking at a suspension lift I have seen a 50-75mm lift kit in oppositie lock.

no instructions, but here is a link on how to do it :thumb:

Gen3 Montero - Old Man Emu Suspension Installation (http://middlepath.gotdns.com/gen3monty/)

Took m a day to do it. I would sugest after getting the front strutsout to take them o a suspension place to get them discharged and re-assembled. You can use spring compessors, as I did, butneed to be patient and take it slowly as the springs are still under tension even when when removed from the car.

If you are in Brisbane, I don't mind him coming around and I give him a hand.

PM me if you have any q's

No worries Jody,

The NP are a great machine and will take you alot further then you expect. :thumb:

I do suggest if you are doin rough off roading, get some custom rock sliders made up and get rid of the OEM side steps, as they are only there for looks and provide no protection at all..

Cheers,
Ben

EDIT: I'll tell you how much when I get the bill from the fabricator

Hi Ben,

Just wondering who you are getting to fabricate your rock slides and how much. If the price is right i would be interested.:thumb:

How is it going guys i have a MN Pajero and i would like to lift my 4WD ,but in the past i have alway had lowered cars and found i could not get insurance for it . How much can you lift it and still be covered ? or is this something you have to check with your own insurance company ? as each one could be different. I also want to fit headers and 2.5 inch sports exhaust for more power and sound .

Redshaw, I would check things with your insurance company first. As for legalities, I don't know where you are, but in QLD, you can do 2" body and 2" susp lift no worries. You should be fine with extractors and exhaust.
Also, is the MN the new Pajero? In which case, I don't believe you can do a Body lift, I believe it is a monocoque chasis, rather than a ladder chasis which is required for a body lift.
