I made contact a while ago with a Melb SE suburb guy, called his shop 4Play, specialised in ZOOK only build-ups. Have since lost his details. Anyone know if he has Web site?

Joe closed the shop down and doesn't do that stuff anymore I believe. And he never had a website

hey guys

i was chasing the guy from 4play offroad as well.
i was looking at buying another zook that had a solid axle swap converted by him. it had no engineers and i tried to get on to him to ask what would need to be done to get the cert.
any ideas fellas?
should i contact someone else and ask or try follow him up?

i'm new to the whole engineering area so any help would be appreciated.

CHEERS!

try someone else as he doesn't do this anymore. Vicroads have a list of approved enginers available on their website.

Let me guess it is the green Vitara that has had the rear cut off? If so I don't reckon it will be easy to get engineered as the best way to get things like that done is to be dealing wit the enginner before you start so they know and set out the process to do the mods.

yeh fair enough thanks grimbo.

it was the vitara on ebay too. thought it might be a good base to start from providing it was at the right price.

i've currently got a coily and i'm starting to get into the well known coily limitations when it comes to suspension improvments, and rather than chopping it up thought i'd look at another alternative.

anyway thanks for your advice.

So he has closed down. Damn, thats probably why he wasn't there when I went to find a part the other day. Does anyone know the details of the Suzuki place in Heidelberg?
