Collapsed RH front axle bearing NJ Pajero

Hello All
The brother inlaw has roped me into replacing the right front outer axle bearing on his NJ pajero and I dont think I will upset any diff settings by sliding the axle out replacing the bearing+seal then sliding it back in.
has anyone been lucky enough to have done this before:crazy:

Hi
You shouldn't affect the diff settings so long as you don't take the diff out and adjust the backlash. In and out with the axle should be no problems

I beleive you just need to use a prying bar to release the axle from the diff is that correct or is there a bit more to it???

hay i replaced my ball joints on my pajero and now when i put it in 4wd the drivers side axel pops out of the shaft and the front wheeles will not engage
