I am thinking a getting one of these as a second car.

I know that the mag had a article this month. What the mag doesn't tell me is how they to live with for a couple of years and what everyday drivers of these have experienced in problems wise.

Cheers Dave.

I owned 1 for 5 years and used it every second saturday and during the week would out drag local ricers :D

only did 2 stater motors, 1 pulley, 1 rear main seal and 1 CV and i was young and stupid plus i drove it hard, all but the cv could have been prevented if i knew any better back then!!

dam photobucket is not up so i will post pics later.

J20A is the engine designation, SV420G is the model designation. I have one of these in my Vit collection (it's a sickness) and it's the basis for my new build. The more I drive it, the more I like it.

i've always had a soft spot for the zooks, i think the SV420G was the best comprimise as it still can be still be modified & is also a reasonable road car.

i found this thread on zukiworld atari4x4 build up:waycool:

I was thinking of getting a SWB GQ Safari, but the Navara costs enough to run.

How are they on fuel, I do 120-200km's a day, I wanna share the Km's with the Navara. I bought the Navara last july and have clock up 50,000km's since. So yeah I drive alot.

It will pretty much only see stockton, for off road fun. I wont be doing anything extreme.

Fuel was good, i cant remember the tank size but i will fill the tank in bris-morayfield on friday and drive down to black duck 4wd park with a fully loaded zuk, do 2 days solid 4wding then drive home with 530ks and still have 50ks to go before i needed to fill up again, it was stock tyres with 40mm lift

the last 2 show it with 225/75/16s that did slow it but i added extractors and problem solved

stock the 2L has 39% more torque and 39 % more power than the 1.6, i dont know another 4b that can smoke the tyres of the show room floor
( thats under $90,00 )

my 2c is if you can get your hands on one go for it!!

Righto a big thank you to the Suzuki boys on this forum.

I am waiting for a new contract to come through in a few days, so then the searching will begin.

Cheers Dave.
