The body lift Glenn used was a Les Richmond Automotive kit. All the information is in issue 105. The kit Glenn used gives a 2.5in. (65mm) lift. There wasn't a price given in the magazine but if you check out their website I'm sure you might find the information on there.

JTO,
I did use the LRA body lift mainly because it is the only one I could find that braces the body lift blocks back to the chassis and comes with everything including bull bar relocation brackets as well as seat belt extensions etc. It lets me run the 33s with stock standard suspension and the bugger has heaps of articulation but I'm looking at doing the suspension soon as I've added heaps of weight over the front now.

Thanks Glenn,
I have been offline for a couple of weeks during a house move. Your beast is coming on good and I was looking at the same spacer lift for mine so I can clear 35's and more.

It is an awesome kit there is no doubt and the instructions that they give you make it so easy a child could understand them.
I wish i had the funds to get it but all i could afford was $200 my wife gave me. But I wasn't going to let that get in my way. I lifted the body 2 inches and increased the travel by about 30% Lucky I already had the Rancho 9000's.

How is the thing going mate? What plans do you have for the suspension? I suddenly have a whole lot more interest in Rangies these days :-)

Yeah Glenn, what suspension pack are you going with? I have the Procomp shocks the 3" lifted Lovells springs with another 30mm from urethane spacers. They give me great articulation and ride. The 350 chev is a bit heavy but they are adequate at the front.

G'day - LRA have various springs available, colour coded for the length etc and also Bilstein shocks to suit. I run the blue springs with the Bilsteins on my '88 and have an 84 with OME front shocks and Monroe gas shocks on the back. This has a 50mm body lift but I can't tell you what the springs are. The '84 definitely rides harsher than the '88.

How do you find the body roll on road JTO?

Hi everyone, I haven't decided on the suspension yet. The bloody thing articulates so well with the standard setup but has lost some ride height with the extra weight that's sitting on it now. I've just made up some DIY rock sliders that came up well and once I do the rear bar and snorkel I'll put more thought into the suspension. I was thinking of aftermarket air suspension but haven't decided. I'd like to have a play with moving the shock absorber and spring mouinting points to show how much extra wheel travel I can get without having to lift the ride height too much over standard as it's still a daily driver. I'll keep you posted when I know more.
I hope to have the beast on display at the 4WD Action stand at the Sydney 4WD show next weekend.
Thanks
