I've never broken a windscreen. count every thing else as broken.
2 engines (1 wear, 1 abuse) plenty of engine mounts
gearbox rooted (sure it's a shoey shift)
std transfer case gears ('lost' the oil)
the case itself, tore a hole in the side
plenty of transfer mounts,
several alternators, starters and radiators (what? they don't like mud?)
couple of steering boxes,(tire size and rocks verses box)
sector shaft (bad tree!)
steering column spacer (it's the little things that stop you)
several panels (hang on, I wanna try something)
assorted leaf springs,
shocks with unauthorised bends in them
plenty of holed tyres, bent rims
put a star picket through the passenger side floor- patch is still there
2 half inch rod ends attempting a burnout on a rock
crushed a $900 exhaust so bad the car wouldn't run 4 hours after it was fitted
Aprox 20 suzi cv's , couple of front inner axles,
A dana 44 front inner axle (in front of 80 people at a show being silly)
dana 44 front air locker
a couple of sierra hubs
avm sierra hubs
ora sierra hubs
scout dana 44 hubs
avm dana hubs ( warn premiums have sorted this once and for,all-fingers crossed)
Ripped off mirrors, flares, flaps and assorted aerials,
restyled bullbars, siderails and rear bars.
crushed the factory targa bar so hard the interior light came on.
More seals and bearings reduced to mud seives than I care to remember
Aproximately 10 cd players
couple of driving lights
plenty of rock lights
turned a snorkel into a stripe
drivers side window (wasn't even offroad for that)
6 inch gash in reasonable soft top from the rolladoor handle
winch controller got itself run over
Routine tune up for this car used to be, oil, oil filter, left hand side engine mount and all new indicator lenses.
Lets not get started on recovery gear I've busted...

In six months of owning it I have done 4 engine mounts (GTi motor) one starter motor, one ding in the bullbar and a bucket load of scratches. I'm amazed at how tough my zook seems to be compared to the rest on here, I wheel it to nearly the point of rolling every week and still asks for more.

check which way rain usually falls in your area. in my area it usually comes from west and i find i only get leaks when i park side on to it. just don't leave the top off like i did and get struck by a massive thunderstorm. thank god for the rubber bungs under the floor mat and my trusty can of lanolin spray. emptied out so i could drive home and no rust

my old orange one, well i rolled it and was going to fix it and came across my new one for $1000 so it just made sense to buy it and sell my other one, i sold it to a guy who wanted the brand new 2 inch lift and sliders and towbar off of it.
i rolled it on a country road doing about 25k's around a corner lol don't ask me how it happened all i now is that it involved gravel a step up in the road and narrow track diffs lol.

Airconditioning System from the Compressor Backwards (Bar the Hoses)
with re-gas and convert.
Every Bearing you can think of
Previous owner pushed the alloy Bullbar back onto the grille causing a night mare with the bar rattling.. which is now fixed
Usual papercone speaker and Headunit issues(all replaced)
Blocked heater drain hose.. 4 litres of water in the heater slowly leaking into the cabin..also causing a RANK smell when the air con was on..'
Changed the Battery Terminals as the old ones were rusted and too small for the New battery I had bought...
and now an incurable Engine miss fire at under 2400rpm making it hard to do low range work..
Rear window washer jet clogged with some stringy Black stuff..
Front washers, only one works on the Drivers Side...

Add noisey lifters to mine, Hopefully a good engine oil flush and change will fix that though.

if your running the standard 1.3 then they have lash adjustment. Also know as valve clearance or tappet adjustment. It should have the correct gap under the hood on the service information sticker.

GTi motor=non adjustable. Apparently they just clog up after a while and a good flush fixes it normally.
