speedo: water pressure coming from the lower leg of motor near gearbox should be similar pipe to attach speedo pipe to. tach: not sure, i would imagine it gets connected to the distributor?

You can get digital tacho's that have an inductive pickup from the high tension lead on one of the spark plugs. I got one for my 3 cyl 30HP Yamaha from ebay (also shows running hours - great for service scheduling). You need to buy the correct one to suit your motor, tho - i.e.match the number of cylinders. There are prob more options, but this is the typr I ended up with. Cheers
