hey guys,
so, this is the thread to discuss model planes.

Gear in em

Bying em

Buildin' em

and, inevitabaly, crashign them.

to start teh ball rolling. i fly for thunderbirds aeromodelers in brisbane. almost solo, and at the moment im flying a Fling ( Small glider) and a Rumple. the oldest oen in existance actaully.

Wat you guys flying?

I have just assembled a Boomerang 40 (ARF Sport/Trainer) and this weekend will hopefully see the first flight. I haven't flown anything for about 10 years, so wish me luck!

good luck. haha. ARF is convinient, but i rather enjoy building them myself. have fun. let the good times roll, or fly.

I think I will ARF the first two or three, then build from a kit.

The first flights have been successful. Buddy lead the first two times, then solo. Only slightly bent the undercarriage on one arrival (too rough to be a landing!).

yeh, thast the best bet. dad has been teaching me to build for a while, so, knowing how to helps. the most depressing part however, is seeing ur hard work 2 foot into the ground after ur elevator servo fails. lol.
