A mate has an '04 RA Rodeo 3.0TD and was wondering how he can tweak it performance wise as it is a bit of a dog down low.

Does anyone have any knowledge in regard to cost, suitability and ease of installation for the following:

* exhaust upgrade - 3"?

* power chip

* fuel pump adjustments

* boost adjustments

Any info/tips would be greatly appreciated.

if he hasn't had it to a holden dealer recently there is a ecu upgrade and rework of egr solenoid. i recently had a lose of power in my rodeo turns out the egr valve was stuck and these two reworks got the power back down low. I am currently building a 3inch exhaust for my rodeo that runs from the turbo back.

Had ours serviced recently and they did the ecu upgrade, when I asked why they said to stop overheating problems???? Never had this problem, do you have any idea why they updated the ecu program??

I've never had a problems with overheating either. I was just told that there was a ecu remap when i took it in with the egr problem. I only ever take it to holden when there is warranty work to be done as i'm a mechanic and do the servicing myself.
