just came in from giving my son a hand to tighten his front wheel bearings. It's all foriegn to me (always been a toyota man) anyway got the auto locking hub/cap off, the caliper off the 6 bolts holding the disk there and I can't see anything else that resembles a circlip or any way of taking it apart further. Hoping somebody will have a quick answer, but being a fronty dont like my chances. Oh yeah, it's a 97.

Do you guys think it is acceptable to PM a few of the fronty owners? They are not a common car and it would be real handy not to have to get a mobile mechanic out or get it towed. (yep, it's that loose) cheers, Dave

As a Rodeo owner, I sympathise. However, I can print the appropriate pages from the Service CD and send them snail mail to you. Unfortunately the Service CD is encoded and protected and I can't copy/paste or digitally transfer the info, practically and legally but 55c for a stamp is OK. Go figure. PM me if you think this might help.

Can you tell me if they are like a tapered bearing with a nut that can be tightened?

They'd be the same as R9 series Rodeo auto locking hubs I think.
Wait few minutes while I look at my CD manual.
