Hi guys new to the site and kinda new to 4x4. I have got myself an awesome little 93 Vitara 1.6lt.I have put in 30mm spring spacers for a little lift but looking at getting 2" in the future.I have seen a few of the suzi's here and was wondering whats involved with making a home made snorkel as i am having trouble finding a supplier.
Also what problems will i have putting a 2" body lift on as i want to do it all at home or at a mates shop but i want to do it myself.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Cheers.

ARB supply the snorkel for ealier model 4cyl Vitaras. About 400 from memory fitted. You have to quote wether is is carby or fuel injected.
No problems lifting the body, Calmini has everthing you need for the early model Vitara.
If you are going to put in 2inch coil spacers (wouldnt recomend it), remember your front struts will stop short on your travel of your front suspension. OME are the only struts that have the travel you want, they have an extra 40mm down travel over all aftermarket shock. Even the camini shocks have spacers on the top of them.

A 40 or 50mm body lift isn't too hard for most Vitara's, a kit will get you all the bolts and blocks you need, and a couple of hours one afternoon should do the trick to get it lifted! It's probly a better idea to do a 40mm body lift than it is to do any more suspension lift!! With the suspension lift you've already got, and new and suppler shocks, you are off'n racing! That suspension & Body Lift combo will give you a big enough hole for tyres well beyond what the Engine's capable of, at least big enough to demand a set of Rockhopper gears too!
Keeps the CoG down, makes it all a lot easier for engineering, a whole heap easier to do.... Go orn, do the Body lift you KNOW that it's gonna be worth it in the end! Enjoy!
Cheers!

Tim at Outdoor Autos should be able to help, surf the web to find him or he is on here, his username is ODA1.
Tim is a bit of a suzi nut and sells suzi gear, try him as he should be able to help.
