Hey guys,
i was just wondering, would a bullbar from say an 05 triton fit the front end of an 02 challenger seeing as they have similar grill shapes? the reason i ask is that no one makes a decent bullbar for my car, and i really want one that looks good, but is also functional. ECB makes one (but looks like a block of flats), and so too TJM - but i was particuarly after a steel one.
there are plenty for the early shape challenger (leaf springs), but since they went to coils, it seems that they have been forgotten about.
what do you think?
cheers guys

Agree with you, but the ARB bar should fit the coil sprung models.... just need to cut the grill to suite. Try the Triton bar and let me know if it fits.:thumb:

Where are the bars for the earlier models (1999-00) models. I have been trying to find a steel bar for my Challenger and everyone has stopped making them.
I am looking now at modifying the nudge i have as it is a very heavey duty one. Looking at putting some wings on the side for front protection.
Try ironman or fx bull bars they should fit as they are a multi fit

Nope - Ironman said no. And FX don't have Challenger or older triton listed. They have to be airbag certified to the particular vehicle.
Only one is the ARB one which is $1500. Have called Powerful 4x4 and they said ring back in a week or so as they have some coming in from OS that they are just waiting on the air bag certification on.

i ended up getting a challenger front "nudge bar" with the wings that protect the sides.. not as hard as a steel bar, but goot to protect from shopping trolleys, bush, shrubs, etc.. hmm dont have a pic of it though..
i'll try put one on..

I have a 2001 Challenger and was finding the same problems locating a decent bullbar, I ended up getting an MK Triton one off ebay and modifying the mounts slightly .... the Challenger chassis is slightly wider at the front than the Triton, but the bolt holes where the chassis extensions bolt on the front are in the same place as the Triton bumper mounts ... once you've cut the bullbar mounts down they bolt straight on .... th eonly other thing to watch out for is clearance between the grille and the uprights on the bullbar, I had to trim them back as well. Then you may need to trim the bottom off the grille.

Hi Guys,
Did any of you get the info on the MK Triton bullbar going onto the challenger. I am looking at buying the same bullbar to try and put on my challenger.
Cheers.

TJM has stopped making a bullbar for the Challenger! Not many options available for later models. ARB still has one for pre 2000 models but salesman told me they do not fit on any of the Challengers from 01 onwards... I thought the only difference was the rear suspension setup.
I am thinking about giving my ECB one a bit of a facelift with a angel grinder! It looks like a snow plough! But not sure if it will effect the Air bag certification.

the ECB bars while being ugly do offer a fair bit of protection. the ding in the front of mine
is from a donkey that i was doing around 50kph when i hit it.
