I am just wondering if anybody knows if K & N make an air filter to fit the V6 challenger? I had a look on the site but couldn't see challenger listed, but I am sure the Triton model would probably fit.

Thanks

I don't know but I reckon your best bit is to call your local Mitsubishi Dealer and get them to see what (if any) models have the same part number for the air filter. I'd say its contemporary Triton would probably be the same though.

yep, should be the same as the 3 litre v6 triton, the challenger is built on a slightly modified triton chassis, all running gear is the same except the later challengers have coil spring rear suspension

What year model? I reckon a K&N 33-2045 might fit your Challenger - around $80, but there are several for the various model Mitsu's

I can assure you that they do make one because i have one. apparently it is the same as the 3lt magna, pajero, and tritons as they all have the same air box. improves performance too. i will try and get a part number for you, otherwise if you are still having trouble, i may be able to order one for you and ship it down.:thumb:

I know the K&N filters do fit as mentioned. I am also looking at a new intake like these to improve performance further.

Montero Sport Online Forum - what kind of intake? (http://msport97.proboards6.com/index.cgi?board=performance&action=display&thread=1185423764)

How do you think they would go in Aust dusty conditions?

Repco have them, or can get them in!
