I ordered a Clicon dashmount (http://www.kioskcommunications.com.au/kiosk/ProductBrowse.asp?tid=2&cid=36&mid=1014) & phone holder from Kiosk Communications, and it turned up in the mail today. The beauty of these is no holes need to be drilled, as their name suggests they click on!
They're made for a huge range of vehicles and phones/PDA's/GPS's. Basically you choose the dashmount for your vehicle (for the ML there's a centre or angled mount), and then add the appropriate cradle for your electronic device.
You can install them in minutes I (did I mention there's no holes to be drilled in your vehicle?) :thumb: Here's couple of pics of mine :D
Cheers
Andrew

Looks neat.
I'm also not a fan on drilling into the dash, so when it came time for me to put a switch in for the 240's I mounted it at the very base of the steering column, way out of sight, yet still easy to access whilst driving if needed. Will post pics soon..

I'll be installing my 240's this weekend, hadn't thought about the need for the switch :o I will look at locating mine where you've done yours!

Andreww, just went and took some pics for you so you know exactly where I mean..
You can just see the switch in front of the rainbow cruise control wires.

And here's a shot facing up from the floor.

You will need to remove the bottom half of the steering column shroud, thats a 5min task. Then I just used an electric drill to put a hole in the centre of the area I wanted the switch, then I just used a hoppy knife, or stanley knife to carve out the square so the switch fit nice and snug.
Oh and it's totally off topic, but here's a pic of some interior bling...

Haha, yeah the bling is cool...
The missus made the mistake of calling me from work one day and she said how one of her workmates is getting a new Triton and Mitsu offered the option of a roof mounted DVD player, I said do you want one? Her response was F**k yeah!! so the next day I went and got the Alpine unit, $1600 installed, got it home and she's like WTF! I didn't mean go and get it now......
haha, bad luck!!
I love it, when we did the long drive from Brissy to Katherine, I drove it with a mate, one was driving while the other was lying on the back seat watching dvd's...
