Hi,

Just starting out and am trying to find out if you can fit front recovery points on the Vitara without drilling the chassis. Or is that the best way to go? Would appreciate any replies in as much non-tech talk as possible. I've read some of the posts on here and it sounds swahili!! Thanks in advance :)

Unfortunately the vits only have "tow points". Bit of work required for recovery points.
I've snatched my vit a couple times and the loop is already showing some sign of stress.

The front point on a GV is fine for recovery. Only the rear is no good for recovery. You need to do another recovery point on the rear only. I did mine by welding and bolting a recovery point on the tow bar bolts.

Yes i have had no problems with the front for snatching but for the rear i use a BBM Hitch in my towbar

They're ours. $60. Also have 11 different configuration bolt on hooks, so we can sort out something for the front.

Liam, it would be cool to know which one fits the GV and also if you have any that fit Vitara's and Jimny's. It's always a problem getting good recovery points on the Zooks. If we knew what works I could suggest to our Club members to order them from you.
