bigger tyres on 97 pajero

hello,
i would like some advice on putting bigger rims and tyres on my early model 97 pajero. i would like to fit sunraysia's on the vehicle. im just wondering what size tyre i can fit on the opajero without comprimising the driveshafts and mechanical side. some one advised 31 inch tyres would this be to big or could i go bigger?

mate i have a 98 pajero and run 265/75 16s without a problem.

I have a 97 model and run 33x 12.5 with no probs pajeros actually have one of the stronger drivelines.
