They're phat looking bar! One in the ARB challenge pick looks a bit bulky though.

i think they about $1200 the gq bar is alot more compact than the gu so it looks a bit better thru my eyes. they have been made to suit body lift and no body lift because the bar goes around the guards not flush. alot of people have recomended a fat bar before a cheezy bar (they brake so i have been told)

Stu (from FAT) uses very good quality materials and his welding is absolutly top notch.

In this photo I'm winching a dead 80's up a track and the GU is resting on the top bar only. THe bar didn't budge one bit and the tree was left with a dent in it.

The main support that he has laser cut out.

Much improved aproach angle.

There's different models for either body lift ot no body lift.

We have designed this Bar to give maximum
approach angle while allowing fitment of a
WARN M8274-50. The winch cradle is
manufactured out of 5mm Bisalloy 80, which is
laser cut and CNC folded. The bars are fully
gusseted and welded and are extremely strong.
Tube work is manufactured out of 650Mpa
D.O.M., which is bent in our programmable
Radius Bender.

They are a deadset knockout looking bar! Any one got a pic of one on a GQ, youve got me interested, and the tax return cheque is getting itchy feet.

Hey Dave we need the bush - otherwise there wouldn't be too many places to drive. Another track just closed south of Toowoomba.

Yeah i know we do mate, its just a little bit of a laugh at the greenies who dont understand that the house they live was built on, heaven forbid, bushland that was cleared so that a new subdivision can be built and the folks of Australia can have houses and such.

I would go into it further but another time and in another thread.

hey guys after my initail post claiming that a low mount wouldnt fit in a gq fat bar, i think i may have proved myself wrong. i was looking at a warn 9.5xp high speed and got the dimension off the warn web site. i have measured up my bar and its going to be close but i think it may fit. Ill keep you updated!! If anyone in south east suburbs of melbourne has a 9000 or 9500 xp out of a bar that i could come over and quickly try bolting to my bar that would be awesome let me know. Im sure an alcoholic thankyou could be organised.

Hey guys i fitted my mates xd9000 low mount to my fat bar for a trail fit today and it fitted no problems. i think an xp9500 would also fit allthough the motor would be getting close to the bar.
