gudday peoples,

i just bought myself a HVLP gravity feed spray gun:)
now i know how to set pressures for a regular suction feed, but im at a loss as how to set up a HVLP.

generally when im spraying i set my regulator to any where from 50-80 lbs.

this new gun came with a little regulator that fits on the inlet side of the gun. what do i set this little reg. to? and what do i set my commpressors reg. to???

im realy at a loss:(

any help appreciated guys;)

cheers

a hvlp gun uses low air pressure and you can reg it at the gun,
they are a good set up, uses less paint as there is less air pressure and less over spray,

when you say 50-80lb, not sure about that,
i normally use 50-70psi depending on what im doing, and a hvlp gun should only use about 40 psi at the gun,
its worth doing a test it on a panel where its not that important, just to get use to it,
