Narva blue D/Light covers

I have just fitted a pair of Narva Blue driving lights, one pencil beam and one spread beam. They come with transparent lens covers which are quite thick, however has anyone left these on with the lights working, as I am concerned that they may melt.
Whilst I have some light breakages due to stones from oncoming vehicles on dirt, it would be good if they could be used to help save my lights, however I dont want to keep taking them off every time I need to use my D/L, which is a lot.

Don't worry they will not melt unlike the older type thta would melt and stuff your lights
Light force have been using plastic lenses for years. I have had mine for 5 yrs and although they are near stuffed I only take them off for a wash.
