ok, this is how i did it.. its by no means the only way to do it.. but i think the finish looks good and noone would know they dont belong there

first off, this is what the fog light assembly looks like when removed from the OE bumper

pull the frame off and the silver cover

all i did was cut off the false plate mounting lugs from the arb plastic fog lamp housing and dril some small holes and use 20mm wood screws to screw the fogs into the housing, nbe careful not to drill all the way through or it will end up coming out the front face.. you could also mount them to the steel bracket behind but that sits on an angle and i couldnt be bothered working out the geometry to get them sitting straight again.. this surface is straight to start with.

then i cut the back off the front cover to make it shallower (else it would be the most forward part of the bull bar.. not safe out there)

then i had to shape it to fit into the hole (its a bit too big) and made it follow the curves of the housing.. just used a sanding disc on an angle grinder

had to cut a notch out of the rear steel plate so the agle adjustment knob wouldnt foul on it

i thought the silver looked a bit pretentious on my black bar so i masked it up and gave it a few coats of matt black automotive acrylic.. (sand the surface first if you want the paint to stick.. i just used a red scotch brite pad to rough it up) and plug it back into the factory harness and they will work as before

Hey Andy J,
There was someone in the trading post with a set of MLtriton fogs for $90.00. NSW or QLD I think.

Where do you want me to start??

Mainly the covers actually. I've got the left housings in, working on the right as I type, just can't get it covered with the grey standard shroud of the light itself

I havent gotten around to that yet as you can see in my avatar. Ive gone and got a dremel tool just havent had the time (been brave enough) to crack into it. I am a bit concerned about shaping the covers, let me know how you went about it.

i put a jigsaw upside down in a vice, and then followed the line that i have drawn in red on the attached pic, then out came the jigsaw and i put in the belt sander, (as you can see im resourseful with the minimal tools i own...)

then it was just a matter of sanding down the leftover piece bit by bit. mainly flatten the top and bottom a lil, and take down the side closest to the centre of the car.

then i tacked em in place with a bit of glue, and ran a bead of silicon around the inside.

hope this helps, by no means is it the only way, but it worked for me.
