I have a 98 gu patrol 4.5l petrol that is approaching 200 000 klm and am just wonderring how reliable they are when they start to get some whear and tear. I get it serviesed regualry and she runs fine i just want to make ure that if i am on fraser for 2 weeks she will be able to handle it.

That is a hard call because even a vehicle with say 100,000km on it can be unreliable, it really depends on the upkeep of the vehicle over it's life (replacement of parts as they wearout) if you are not sure maybe you can have it inspected by a good 4WD specailist before you go to Frazer.

There's 4b's out there with more klms (only talking petrol) that are still going & going strong, but as Ts said it all comes down to maintainance, as long as that has been regular, you should be right.
You would know if there was any serious problems just with your regular driving, but it doesn't hurt to get a check-up before any big drive.
