Has anyone made a snorkle out of black PVC piping? if so what needs to be taken into account? How did you fasten it to your car, i dont really want to be drilling screw through my panel work. and how hard is it? and have you got any close up pics?

doesn't matter if you make one yourself or get a brand name one professionally installed. you are going to have to drill into somewhere on your car to fasten it into place.......and also a mighty big hole through a front guard. do a search on homemade snorkel or something like that and you should find plenty of threads

Sure you dont mean poly pipe? Poly pipe is stronger than pvc too.
