06 GV 4WD override?

Throwing this one out there to the Suzi tech heads.
I have heard/read somewhere that some other AWD/constant 4WD vehicles through altering something can actually be converted back to a 2wd/4wd. Is this possible with the 06 GV (2.7 V6 manual) seeing as it is electrically engaged and all?? Does the transfer have the facility for 2wd?
It would be nice to have the option for 2wd for long highway runs and fuel economy too.
Just thought I would ask. Maybe even a link to research?

Found the GV on Suzuki in USA and according to the spec sheet over there they have 4wd OR rwd and the 4wd is an optional extra so I am assuming that this means that the transfer has the ability and it is just a matter of finding the gear and knowhow to get it done.
I'll keep looking but if someone knows where to look it would be much appreciated.

The plan has been aborted.
It seems that the other model is 2wd only and has no transfer and the 4wd transfer doesn't have ability for 2wd. Also it seems that the free wheeling hubs would need to be grafted from a Jimny (maybe not 100% on that bit).
I would be very interested in cross axle LSD's or Lockers if anyone knows of availability
