:drink: g'day everyone just a small question...got a 60 series 2h diesel underway to being on the road but the tyres on it i would say are 30" or so...What size could i go up to before i lose to much of the on road power, cos in my view off-road doesnt matter the low down torque and gearing will do the work anyways....
looking at a 2" suspension lift and possibily a 2" blody in the future...
cheers of the feedback...its greatly appreciated...

With the 2h, i'd say 30.5"

You should be able to go to 33" without a huge struggle, 32" if you're towing stuff regularly, having only ever driven friends 2h's, and not actually owned one, that's just a rough guide.

I was going to suggest 29"s...

Personally I wouldn't be going too much over stock, 32"s, especially if it's a daily driver and you live anywhere near gentle slopes.

cheers for the feedback fellas, i called the turbo stores atx in hoppers crossing and the extra power output might be an option down the track till then i will stick with 32" or what ever is the stock 10r 15.....

I initially ran 31" tyres on my HJ60 with a 2H. I then wet up to 33" and it wasn't too bad. Then I went to 35" tyres - no good! I put on a turbo and it has enough power, but the gearing is way out, so I'm going to get that addressed.

i guess the hills would be the killer not a real power plus motor, but ever so reliable.....think i will do a lift and have two sets or tyres one for on road and the other 33" off-road wouldnt be a problem 4x4in...
