gudday peoples,
i dunno if youse can help with this one, but i'll try.
i have a '84 mk. it runs a l28 auto and seperate transfer.
i've been offered, for good price, a ED falcon 4l and auto.
now, before i go putting a spanner to it, i want to know if it will fit with not too many dramas.
i've rang around a few places trying to get the length messurement of motor and trans, but no-one seems interested in helping. it seems too much of an imposition.
i know, i could measure it myself but the motor is still in the car. and at the moment there is no way of accessing it from underneath.
we all know falcon xflows fit, because its been done before heaps, but that was with the standard box or a kit onto the transfer.
i just want to know if the motor and box will fit in front of the seperate transfer, without having to move said transfer.
sorry for the longwinded thread. any help will be graciously accepted.
